For years Eco Interior Maintenance founders had been working on a Cleaning, Disinfection and Protection System for hard and soft surfaces. Many of our clients were aware of our disinfection service product line called BactiBarrier® that we developed in 2014-2015 that addressed much of what we are dealing with today.
Clean, Disinfect & Protect
In general, cleaning and disinfection services have been, in many cases, bid out to the cheapest provider with little concern in providing measurable protection of the indoor environment. The industry was not prepared for potential outbreaks like the one we are currently experiencing now with the Human Coronavirus, COVID-19.
Years ago, ECO Interior Maintenance founders studied available cleaning processes and discovered that after a surface had been cleaned & sanitized a surface protector could be applied to inhibit future multiplication of harmful microbes. This advanced cleaning process is extremely effective and can be tested for efficacy.
- Step 1 - clean & apply a disinfectant to sanitize, followed by
- Step 2 - apply an antimicrobial that provides surface protection for 30 days or more.
For Over 35 years, the odorless, colorless, eco-friendly active ingredient has been tested and used though-out the world in carpet, clothing, detergents, contact lenses etc., to help control the multiplication of odors, bacteria, fungi, mold, and viruses. ECO believe that this system of cleaning offers the most effective solution to helping to keep hard and soft surfaces free from harmful microbes.

*inhibiting the multiplication of odor-causing bacteria on hard and soft surfaces. Many other organisms and viruses have been tested over the years in many countries showing great results using 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride ability to inhibit the growth of harmful microbes. This would include many of the harmful microbes that exist today.
